“Being relaxed, at peace with yourself, confident, emotionally neutral loose, and free floating – these are the keys to successful performance in almost everything.” ~ Wayne D. Dyer
I’m going to start a writing challenge. It will begin on the first of October until the end of October.
Why am I doing a writing challenge you might ask?
Well, I do have some reasons why I’m starting this challenge.
Here are my reasons:
- To test my writing ability
- I Wanted To
- Blogging without a plan
- Maximize my blog posts
- Get To Know Me
1. To Test My Writing Ability
I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before, but English is not my first language. French is.
So I’ve been having a hard time writing ever since I was young. My grammar was not, and is not, on point.
I thought it was a fault of mine. But now I’m okay with how I write.
Just as long it’s understood.
So I wanted to start this writing challenge because I wanted to know how much I could write. Plus, If I could really write for 30 days! Nonstop!
2. I Just Wanted To
I also just wanted to. I’ve some blog post ideas to write about but that takes planning. A lot of planning.
I don’t feel like doing that.
Plus, this seems like a fun thing to do.
Life is about trying something you’ve never done before. Therefore, I never have done a writing challenge before.
That’s the purpose for all of us, to live the life we want to live (In Christ mostly for those who are Christians). I choose the writing challenge because I know it’ll be a great learning experience.
3. Blogging Without A Plan
As much as I’m a planner, I don’t carry 100% of my plans.
Maybe like 40%…
Can I get a witness up in here?
So doing this challenge will be good for me. Even though I won’t be doing any planning, I’m hoping I get a lot of ideas to flow through my mind as I write, which could turn to be future blog posts too!
4. Maximize My Blog Posts
I’ve a few blog posts here and thee, but using this writing challenge will definitely maximize my blog posts.
I wanted to have a certain amount of blog posts on my blog before I take a break and focus on a special short course, freebie, or book I’m building up for you all.
But I will need your help (in Dora’s the Explorer’s Voice). That will come at a later time though.
5. Get To Know Me
Isn’t that what a blog is about? Getting to know the person behind the veil? Or behind the blog?
These blog posts I will be posting for 30 days will be personable. Therefore, you’ll get to know my life (not all) as an introvert and more.
The blog posts are pretty simple, just like me but I will try to make the posts entertaining.
Here are the blog posts that I will be writing for 30 days. I got this writing post challenge from Dena Joan on Live Love Simple. You should check her out.
I’m a little nervous but I’m also excited. Why? I’m going to write EVERY DAY.
I’m used to writing 2 blog posts in one day but every day? We shall see. But I’ll make it through
To be honest, I love blogging. It’s a great way to express my creativity and my story.
I also consider it a journey. And I’m not back.
On that note, you will see my first post on the 1st of October so see you then!
I may need to rest my fingers and eyes so when the time comes for me to write, I’ll be ready.
Oh, for those that would like to join the challenge, assuming that you have a blog, leave a comment below!
If you’re a new blogger, this can help you maximize your blog posts. If you’re shy, like me, this can help you break the ice.
If you don’t have one, why don’t you join Wealthy Affiliate? It’s free to sign up and you can set up your own site and get a free theme in a matter of minutes. Plus, they can teach you how to be an Affiliate marketer as you grow your blog. Here’s an honest review I wrote about them if you click here.
Let’s do this together!
